askchibikorra:

(Have a little look into the inspiration for chibi korra’s blog~)

To quote Chibi!Zuko: “I did not see that coming.”

I love you forever, Bryke. Please to be having all of my love, now and forever. Also, here is my wallet.

asklittlelin:

So I just gave it up then and there. The police force was where I belo-… Used to belong anyway.

I am in lesbians with whoever is writing this blog.

bryankonietzko:

I “performed” this “dance” for video reference of this kid in episode 302 of Avatar, “The Headband.” I rarely shy away from making a complete ass of myself in the name of fun, so I thought I’d share this with you guys. This was taped back in 2006, but I think my back still hurts.

I swear, at one point, he knees himself in the chest. HOW ARE YOU SO FLEXIBLE AND AWESOME, BRYAN. HOW.

I always wonder what’s going through Zuko’s head in this moment.

Because you can tell in the moment he pauses before he speaks that he is having a lot of thoughts.

Like:

‘The fuck is he on?  Is he being deprived of oxygen at this high altitude or just high?  Is the moon a metaphor for something?  Is he being poetic?  Because that seemed awfully literal.  Maybe we’re having a moment.  I think we’re having a moment.  Shit, I suck at moments.  I should say something reassuring.  But the fuck do you say to a guy who thinks his girlfriend is a celestial object?’

“…that’s rough, buddy.”

‘Fuck my life I’m the most awkward lion-turtle ever.’

Oh, Zuko, you socially inept little Fire Prince, you.

I lost the ability to can

TO. CAN

This video is INCREDIBLE. Amazing progression; a beautiful look at how all of the dear characters from Avatar grew up over the course of the show. AMAZING.

While Korra is the Princess of Nicknames, Toph will always remain Queen.

Toph will forever be one of my favorite characters from all the Avatar worlds combined, if not my favorite of all time.  How can a character be such a tough, hilarious, and yet completely sympathetic character all at once?  She’s so BAD ASS.

The Benders

  • Waterbenders: I can bend plants and blood
  • Earthbenders: I can bend metal and sense things using my feet
  • Firebenders: I can create and redirect lightening
  • Airbenders: MARBLE
  • Airbenders: TRICK
"

First is the Earth Chakra, located at the base of the spine. It deals with survival, and is blocked by fear. Let your greatest fears become clear to you. You may be concerned for your survival, but you must let those fears go.

Next is the Water Chakra, located in the abdomen. It deals with pleasure, and is blocked by guilt. Look at the guilt from your past that burdens you. Let them go, or they will poison your energy. Meditate and realize that these things happened for a purpose.

Next is the Fire Chakra, located at the stomach. It deals with willpower, and is blocked by shame. Recognize the biggest disappointments in yourself, and what you are ashamed of. Accept that these things happened.

Now is the Air Chakra, located at the heart. It deals with love, and is blocked by grief. Lay all of your grief out in front of you. If you have lost someone close, you must realize love is a form of energy, and it swirls all around us. The love is still in your heart, and can be reborn in the shape of new love.

Next is the Sound Chakra, located at the throat. It deals with truth, and is blocked by lies. The lies we tell ourselves. You must not lie about your own nature. Accept who you are.

Now the Light Chakra, located at the forehead. It deals with insight, and is blocked by illusions. The biggest illusion of all is the illusion of separation. Things we think are separate are actually one and the same. Like the nations of the world: we are all one people, but we live as if divided.

Last is the Thought Chakra, located at the crown of the forehead. It deals with pure cosmic energy, and is blocked by earthly attachments. Meditate on what attaches you to this world. Let your emotions flow and be forgotten. You must unlock this chakra to gain your energy from the universe.

So, Dey & I recently started rewatching A:tLA, and of course I cried like a baby during Mako’s Iroh’s section during Tales of Basing-se, partially because of the memorial for Mako (Iroh’s original voice actor through Books 1 and 2), and partially, of course, for dear Iroh’s pain.

Then chongthenomad came out with this.

Excuse me as I advance to the next level of tearbending and pick up the pieces of my shattered heart from the floor.

chongthenomad:

Leaves From the Vine (Remake)

Produced by Chongthenomad

I decided to do a song a bit similar to what I did with ‘When Avatars Fall in Love’… After listening to some of the old themes from the original show, I decided to re-make ‘Leaves From the Vine’. Which as most of you know, is the song Iroh sings on his deceased son’s birthday.

Hope you like it~

billrinaldi:

Ok I’m going to open the box up again to questions…. Let me first answer some common ones in no particular order in what I like to call…..

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS THAT I WILL ANSWER HERE SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO ASK:

1. Who is Amon? - Sorry can’t answer that you’ll just have to watch!

2. Which…

As I was saying to durnurruh, it will never not be funny to me how the creators/show keep bringing up the question of “What happened to Zuko’s mother, Ursa?” and start to answer it, only to get suddenly interrupted or distracted by something else.

Will the question ever be answered? Will it? Who knows, but until it does, I will continue to be amused by the dodges.
